Plasmonica 2015

Palazzo del Bo / Palazzo Moroni, Padova, Italy

July 1, 2015 – July 3, 2015

University of Padova and SIOF (Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica) are pleased to announce PLASMONICA 2015, the third edition of the workshop on plasmonics and its applications, to be held in Padova, Italy, on July 1-3, 2015.

2015 has been proclaimed as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015). Therefore, PLASMONICA 2015, with its strong focus on the interaction between light and matter at the nanoscale, assumes an even more profound relevance this year in creating and fostering a community of people of any nationality, working in Italy and abroad, that hold Plasmonics as their major field of research. PLASMONICA is in particular dedicated to young researchers, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows working in all fields of Plasmonics.

PLASMONICA 2015 follows the previous editions, which were:
  • PLASMONICA 2013: first edition at Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy
  • PLASMONICA 2014: second edition at Universit√† di Roma 'La Sapienza', Roma, Italy

We would like to dedicate this edition of PLASMONICA to the memory of Paolo Mazzoldi.
